Man lives two lives on earth.
One is the outer, active life, the other is the inner, contemplative one.
The one is manifest to everyone, the other is known only to Me.
Through proper conduct, both lives, the external and the internal, can be united in such a way that one does not hinder the practice of the other.

Zwei Leben gibt es, die der Mensch auf Erden lebt.
Das eine ist das äussere, das tätige Leben, das andere ist das innere, das beschauliche.
Das eine ist jedem offenbar, das andere ist nur Mir bekannt.
Bei richtiger Lebensführung sind beide Leben, das äussere und innere so miteinander vereint, dass das eine die Ausübung des anderen nicht behindert.

Hay dos vidas que el hombre vive en la tierra.
Una es la vida exterior, la vida activa, la otra es la interior, la contemplativa.
Una es obvia para todos, la otra sólo la conozco Yo.
Con la conducta correcta de la vida, ambas vidas, la exterior y la interior, están tan unidas que una no obstaculiza el ejercicio de la otra.

Ci sono due vite che l'uomo vive sulla terra.
Una è quella esterna, la vita quotidiana, l'altra è interna, quella contemplativa.
La prima é evidente per tutti, mentre l'altra é nota solo a Me.
Con la giusta condotta di vita, entrambe le vite, quella esteriore e quella interiore, sono talmente unite tra di loro, così che l'una non ostacoli l'esercizio dell'altra.
